We are a Colorado-based company with all engineering and manufacturing based in the USA. Established in 2021, we have a core group of subcontractors who can modify aspects of our technology to meet your specific needs for secure, accurate fluid analysis.

Founders

Sarvjit Gill, MD

CEO

Sarj Gill is a board-certified head and neck surgeon and experienced entrepreneur, who co-founded SecureSample. Dr. Gill's academic pursuits were at University of Utah, Harvard University, George Washington University and Washington University. He served as medical director of an FDA approved drug, serves on the board of several medical device companies, and is a passionate businessman. His companies have over 40 issued patents in their portfolio. His interests are in improving occupational safety and integrity of sample analysis in the water and hydrocarbon industries.

Arjun Gill

VP of Operations

Arjun Gill is the VP of Operations at SecureSample. He has prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry, which he used to co-found SecureSample. He achieved his bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado and recently graduated from the Masters of Business Creation program at the University of Utah.

Eddie Harris, MD

Board Member

Dr. Eddie Harris is the founder and CEO of Premier Eye Physicians in Atlanta, Georgia. He brings over twenty years of experience in ophthalmic care and entrepreneurship. He received his training in ophthalmology at the world renowned Harvard Medical School. Prior to starting his Ophthalmology training, Dr. Harris was selected for a prestigious fellowship at the National Eye Institute (NEI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Along with his colleagues at the NEI, his work led to finding a defective gene termed RPE65 which is responsible for a particular form of human blindness. This led to the first utilization of gene therapy in the human body to treat blindness. In December of 2017, the FDA approved the drug termed Luxturna. This marks the first FDA approved medication in the field of gene therapy that targets a disease caused by mutations in a specific gene.

 

Dr. Harris also completed a fellowship in ocular genetics at the Institute of Ocular Molecular Genetics of Harvard Medical School.  He is one of only a few genetics trained ophthalmic surgeons in the country. Dr. Harris has been a guest speaker and lectured nationally on several eye topics. In addition to publishing numerous scientific papers, he has received several awards and recognitions for his innovative surgical techniques.

 

Dr. Harris has served on several boards in different industries providing insight into startup and running of successful businesses. Dr. Harris joined SecureSample as a management team member.

Amarinder "Sunny" Gill

Board Member

Amarinder “Sunny” Gill is a proven leader in quality and regulatory for product realization, sustaining engineering,  compliance, and risk management of high growth organizations maintaining speed to market of new product introductions and supporting sales enablement by leading continuous improvement of on-market products. Sunny currently serves as Director of Post-Market Quality with global responsibility for complaint handling, device safety regulatory reporting, and pharmacovigilance.

 

Sunny has broad senior-level experience delivering quality solutions in biotechnology and medical device space for over 20 years within companies such as ICU Medical, Scientia Vascular, Attwill Medical Solutions, PolarityTE, Moog Medical Devices Group, Ballard Medical Devices (Kimberly-Clark Healthcare), Bard Access Systems (since acquired by Becton Dickinson and Company), and various consultancies. Sunny holds dual undergraduate degrees in Chemical and Fuels Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Utah, a Master’s of Science in Regulatory Affairs from San Diego State University, and certifications from American Society of Quality (ASQ) as Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. In addition to sharing his professional experience as a panelist and mentor, Sunny guest lectures on risk management and quality systems in the University of Utah’s Bioengineering undergraduate program and has served on the Utah Chapter Leadership of Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).

Victor Gill

Board Member

Victor Gill is a serial entrepreneur and educator. He is currently the CEO of STRT, a company that focuses on unleashing creative energy through housing. STRT operates at the intersection of housing, venture development, the arts and experience design. Victor has served as a board member, investor, and executive at several startup companies including Blyncsy in Salt Lake City, Stylyze in Seattle and Arena Solutions in Silicon Valley. He was also a leader in Product at MasterControl and Bask, in Utah.

In addition to his executive experience, Victor has been an energetic contributor in the academic world as a professor at the University of Utah. He has taught classes ranging from information systems to entrepreneurship and marketing. He also held the role of director of the University of Utah's startup accelerator. Victor earned his BS and MS in information systems from the University of Utah.

Mandeep Gill, JD

Board Member

Mandeep Gill serves as a legal corporate executive and board member to several entities in highly regulated industries including financial technology and healthcare. Mandeep focuses his practice on corporate transactions/mergers and acquisitions, health technology, fintech, regulatory & compliance issues and government relations. In private practice Mandeep served as chief outside counsel to healthcare technology companies and also advised some of the largest U.S. health systems on mergers and acquisitions and regulatory activity while working in the Denver office of Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman.

 

Mandeep's experience also includes serving as general counsel and chief operating officer of a regional health system and as a senior network strategy advisor to a top-rated academic medical center. Mandeep earned his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law and has dual undergraduate degrees and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Utah. Mandeep serves as a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Health Lawyers Association.  Mandeep has been recognized as a thought leader in corporate transactions in highly regulated industries and as corporate attorney of the year by Utah Business Magazine in 2019 and as corporate attorney of the year by the UMBA in 2021.
